The Dermatique Recuperating Cream is a formulation we researched and developed, initially designed to heal our own daughter’s Eczema. Eczema curing ingredients
Urea
A natural keratolytic, Urea helps to shed upper layers of skin slowly - a key aspect of treating Eczema and helping to remove and repair the dry skin cells. Increasing levels of Urea within the skin reduces roughness, tightness, flaking and irritation leading to healthier, more replenished skin cells.
Blackcurrant seed oil
Studies have shown that a deficiency in gamma linoleic acids can contribute to the cause of conditions such as Eczema and Psoriasis. Blackcurrant seed oil contains nature’s highest concentration of GLAs and provides skin with environmental protection, helping it to maintain resilience. It is anti-inflammatory, anti-aging and rich in essential fatty acids. Blackcurrant seed oil also helps to reduce wrinkles and repair tissue damage, making it extremely useful in treating eczema.
Lanolin
Natural, unprocessed Lanolin is made up of molecules that closely resemble human skin lipids. It protects and absorbs at the same time, holding water within the skin to prevent dryness and also helping the skin to moisturise itself from within.
Avoidance of common irritants
Many of the beauty products now available contain irritants and filler ingredients which damage the skin and cause conditions such as Eczema and Psoriasis to become worse. At Dermatique, we select each and every ingredient that goes into our products for its direct benefit to the skin. We do not use any filler ingredients, known irritants, parabens or chemical substances such as mineral oil.
